Elcomplus and The Genesis Group join forces to enhance performance management for MOTOTRBO networks. Genesis is the developer of the GW3-TRBO® Monitoring software, which enables users to easily view and monitor live traffic, report on system and subscriber activity, as well as manage system resources down to the subscriber level. Elcomplus is the developer of the SmartPTT suite of voice dispatch, location tracking, and other data services for MOTOTRBO radio systems.
To enrich Genesis’ GW3-TRBO network performance monitoring, SmartPTT supplies radio user ID, GPS, and RSSI information to GW3-TRBO, which is then used to create a talk-in RF coverage map (heat map). Genesis combines the wealth of usage and trending information they normally have with the information supplied by SmartPTT to give users a much deeper, visual understanding of the RF coverage range of their system, as well as diagnostic information regarding programming or hardware issues with their field radios (i.e. scanning programming or a bad antenna).
With the joint SmartPTT and Genesis solution, a MOTOTRBO system owner can be sure that the network is performing as expected and be able to react properly on any issues.
