Dispatch Control Over MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus

SmartPTT Enterprise is specially adjusted to control MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus Systems. New architecture approach based on both direct IP control over master repeater and control station pool makes it possible to solve dispatch tasks for high volume Capacity Plus systems, which couldn’t be effectively covered ever before.

Key features of MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus Dispatch Control:

  • SmartPTT Radioserver connects directly to MOTOTRBO Capacity Plus master repeater to receive all voice and data via IP protocol. This approach allows logging and processing voice and data without any radios connected to the Radioserver.
  • For outgoing commands and voice calls Radioserver uses Control Stations – mobile MOTOTRBO radios connected to the Radioserver via USB. For voice call by Control Stations audio cable connection is also required.

Advantages of SmartPTT Dispatch Control Over Capacity Plus:

  • Voice and data logging is implemented by means of direct IP connection. Older configuration, based on control stations, required dedicated MOTOTRBO mobile radio for each Capacity Plus talk group to be connected to the server, which was completely unacceptable for middle and large Capacity Plus systems.
  • Control Station pool for outgoing commands. Outgoing commands and voice calls are processed by Control Station pool controlled by Radioserver. Multiple control stations utilized for sending data provide workload balance in accordance with the system volume. This approach allows effective processing for high capacity fleets (up to 1000 radios per site).
