Setting Up Avigilon Connection

Prerequisites

• Ensure you have Avigilon license in SmartPTT.
• Obtain Avigilon server address and SmartPTT-only credentials.

Procedure

1. In the Configurator, select the Settings tab.

2. On the tab, in its left pane, expand Add-on Modules, then click Avigilon.
   ACC connection settings appear.

   

3. In the right pane, select the Active check box or ensure it is selected.

4. In the Avigilon Server field, enter the IP address and TCP port of the Avigilon server.
5. In the User Name field, enter the username of the account allocated in Avigilon for SmartPTT.
6. In the Password field, enter the password set for the allocated account.

7. To view the password, in the right part of the Password field, click View Password .

   Warning

   For security reasons, the password will not be available for viewing in subsequent sessions.

8. Click Check Connection to ensure the address and credentials are valid.

9. To save changes, in the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save .

Postrequisites

To apply changes immediately, in the bottom part of the Configurator, click Start  or Restart .
