Setting Up SmartPTT Radio ID in CPSS over NAI

Prerequisites

• Connect to CPSS Main Repeaters over NAI
• Determine a radio ID that will be assigned to SmartPTT server and will be associated with its actions.
• If required, log on to the Configurator as a System Admin.

Process

1. In the Configurator, on the Systems tab, expand NAI Systems → <system name>, and then click <slot name>.
   Slot/channel settings appear in the right pane.

2. In the right pane, select the Active check box.

3. In the Name field, type the local/wide area channel that you want to appear in client applications.

4. Set up radio ID for SmartPTT server:

   1. In the Radio ID field, type the ID allocated for SmartPTT server.
   2. In the CAI Network field, type the CAI ID (if different from default).
   3. In the CAI Network for Groups field, type the CAI Group ID (if different from default).

5. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.

6. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
