Setting Up On-Emergency Transmit GPS Triggers

The feature is available only in NAI-capable systems.
Prerequisites§
- Create a group of radios affiliated with NAI-capable systems, and which emergency transmit must trigger their GPS location update.
- Enable GPS Service
Procedure§
- In the Configurator, go to the Settings tab.

On the tab, in its left pane, expand Radio Network Services, and then click GPS.
Centralized GPS settings appear in the right pane.

In the right pane, in the table, perform the following actions:
- Identify the required group.
- For the identified entry, in the On PTT Press Only in Emergency Mode column, select the check box.

Repeat the previous step for other entries, using different distances.
- In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save to save changes.
Postrequisites§
To apply changes and restart the server, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
