Connecting to DDMS in LCP

Prerequisites§

  • Obtain the DDMS host IP address with respect to SmartPTT server.

    Tip

    Basically, DDMS is installed to the same host as SmartPTT server.

  • From the DDMS Configuration Utility, obtain the watcher port number (value of the PortWatcher parameter).

Procedure§

  1. In the Configurator, on the Systems tab, expand NAI Systems → <name of the LCP system>, and then click DDMS Settings.
    DDMS settings appear in the right pane.

  2. In the right pane, select the Active check box.

  3. In the Server (IP address:Port) field, type the DDMS host IP address and watcher port number.

    Example

    192.168.27.5:55000

    localhost:55000

  4. If available, select the DDMS Mode Control check box to establish a link between DDMS services associated with main and backup (redundant servers).

  5. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
  6. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
