Connecting to MNIS in LCP using TCP Interface

Prerequisites

• Ensure tunnel interface is disabled in the MNIS (1)

  1. See Enable Tunnel Interface:

     

• Learn the MNIS host address.

• Learn the MNIS TCP port (1)

  1. See MNIS Control Interface TCP Port:

     

• If required, log on to the Configurator as a System Admin.

Procedure

1. In the Configurator, go to the Systems tab.

2. On the tab, expand NAI Systems → <system name>, and then click MNIS Settings.
   MNIS settings appear in the right pane.

   

3. Set up MNIS connection:

   1. From the Socket Type list select TCP.
   2. In the MNIS Service Address field, enter the MNIS host address and TCP port. Use colon : to separate the address from the port.
   3. Click Test to ensure MNIS availability at the address.
4. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
5. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
