Setting Up Basic Privacy Key in LCP

Warning

Basic privacy is considered weak for production purposes.

Prerequisites

• Learn the security key ID and value.
• If required, log on to the Configurator as a System Admin.

Procedure

1. In the Configurator, on the Systems tab, expand NAI Systems → <system name> → Wireline Interface, and then click Security Settings.
   List of secure keys appears in the right pane.

   

2. In the right pane, in the Basic Privacy area, in the Key field, enter the proper basic privacy key.

3. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
4. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.

• Set up secure key for voice transmissions
