Setting Up Group Calls in LCP

Prerequisites§

From repeater configuration files, obtain the list of groups calls, including their Site IDs.

Procedure§

  1. In the Configurator, on the Systems tab, expand NAI Systems → <name of the LCP system> → Wireline Interface, and then click Talkgroups.
    List of talkgroups appears in the right pane.

  2. In the right pane, perform one of the following actions:

    • To add a new talkgroup, click Add.
    • To add a new All Call, click All Call.
    • To edit an existing group call, proceed to the next step.

  3. In the table, with the required entry, perform the following actions:

    1. In the Name column, double click the current name, and then type the required name.

    2. In the same row, in the ID column (if available), enter the required regular group ID.

      Warning

      Do not use IDs that correspond to Unaddressed Calls, Local Area All Calls., and Wide Area All Calls.

    3. In the same row, from the Site ID column, enter one of the following options:

      • If the group has more than one Site ID in repeater configuration, enter 0.
      • If the group has a single Site ID assigned to it in repeater configuration file, enter that ID.

  4. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.

  5. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
