Setting Up Hangtime and Preambles in LCP

Prerequisites§

  • From LCP radio configurations, learn durations of group call hangtime and individual call hangtime.
  • From LCP repeater configurations, learn repeater preamble durations.
  • Connect to the LCP main repeater.

Procedure§

  1. In the Configurator, on the Systems tab, expand NAI Systems, and then click the required node.
    Basic connection settings appear.

  2. In the Group call hang time, ms field, enter the hangtime duration (in milliseconds) for group calls as per LCP subscriber radio configuration.

  3. In the Private call hang time, ms field, enter the hangtime duration (in milliseconds) for individual calls as per LCP subscriber radio configuration.
  4. For SmartPTT PLUS, in the Preamble duration, ms field, enter the preamble duration (in milliseconds) as per LCP repeater configuration.
  5. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
  6. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
