Setting Up Service-Specific Ports for MNIS in LCP

Prerequisites§

  • Learn service-specific ports in MNIS (1)

    1. See the following parameters:

      • Location Server UPD Port,
      • Location Information Protocol UDP Port,
      • TMS UDP Port,
      • Telemetry UDP Port

  • If required, log on to the Configurator as a System Admin.

Process§

  1. In the Configurator, go to the Systems tab.
    List of supported systems & interfaces appears.

  2. On the tab, expand NAI Systems → <system name>, and then click MNIS Settings.

  3. In the Location Service (LRRP) field, enter the port number associated with the standard location data.

  4. In the Location Service (LIP) field, enter the port number associated with the LIP-formatted location data.
  5. In the Text Message Service field, enter the port number associated with text messages and Job Tickets.
  6. In the Telemetry Service field, enter the port number associated with telemetry data.
  7. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
  8. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
