Setting Up Transmit Secure Key in LCP

The procedure is applicable only to SmartPTT PLUS.

Prerequisites§

Set up secure keys.

Procedure§

  1. In the Configurator, on the Systems tab, expand NAI Systems → <name of the LCP system> → Wireline Interface, and then click Security Settings.
    List of secure keys appears in the right pane.

  2. In the TX Privacy area, from the Type list, select the proper privacy type:

    • To transmit voice in the clear (unencrypted) mode, select No.
    • To transmit voice in the coded (encrypted) mode using basic privacy, select Basic.
    • To transmit voice in the coded (encrypted) mode using enhanced privacy, select Enhanced.
    • To transmit voice in the coded (encrypted) mode using symmertic secure keys, select AES.
  3. If available, from the Key ID list, select the ID of the required secure key.
  4. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
  5. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
