Setting Up Multimedia Storage
Prerequisites§
- Install license that unlocks Mobile Apps.
- If required, log on to the Configurator as System Admin.
Process§
- In the Configurator, go to the Settings tab.

In the left pane, expand Addon Modules, and then click Multimedia.
The settings appear in the right pane.

In the right pane, click the Active check box.
- Set up the file storage:
- In the Storage Location line, click Browse .
- In the folder selection dialog, select the create and/or select the required folder.

Set up the storage retention
- To enable time-bound retention policy
perform the following actions:
- In the Storage Retention area, select the Time check box.
- In the Time (days) box, enter the multimedia files timeout in days.
- To enable retention policy related to storage total size,
perform the following actions:
- In the Storage Retention area, select the Maximum Storage Size check box.
- In the Maximum Storage Size (GB) box, enter the required value.
- To enable time-bound retention policy
perform the following actions:

Set up file policy
- In the File Extensions area,
perform one of the following options:
- To set up exceptional file extensions (and prohibit all others), click Allowed.
- To set up prohibited file extensions, click Prohibited.
- To disable policies, clear the text box next to the Allowed and Prohibited options.

In the text box to the Allowed and Prohibited options, enter file extensions that must be allowed/prohibited.
Warning
- SmartPTT does not support wildcards in file name extensions.
- SmartPTT does not support file name inputs in this area.
- In the File Extensions area,
perform one of the following options:

In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save to save changes.
Postrequisites§
To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
