Enabling Server Interface to Remote SNMP Service

Prerequisites§

  • Install a license that contains “Monitoring” and “SNMP” items enabled.
  • Connect and/or upgrade the connection to the monitoring database.

Process§

  1. In the Configurator, go to the Settings tab.

  2. In the left pane expand Addon Modules → Monitoring, and then click SNMP Service.
    Server interface settings appear in the right pane.

  3. In the right pane, select the Active check box.

  4. From the Interface list, select the computer IPv4 address intended for external SNMP service. If irrelevant, select Any.
  5. In the Port field, enter the TCP port of the computer for communications with external SNMP service.
  6. In the bottom part of the Configurator, click Save  to save changes.
  7. To apply changes, click Restart in the bottom part of the Configurator.
