Setting Up Additional Server Connection
Follow the procedure to achieve one of the following goals:
- Set up backup server connection.
- Set up additional server connection for inter-server patching.
Prerequisites§
- Determine the server IPv4 address and WCF port. Consider NAT if applicable.
- Log on to the Dispatcher App as a Console Admin.
Process§

In the main window of the app, in the top right corner, click Settings , and from the menu that appears, select Radioservers.
List of radioservers appears. -
Perform one of the following actions:
- To add a new server, click Add .

To edit an existing server, double click it in the list of servers.
Tip
Alternatively, you can start editing an existing server in the following way:
- In the list of servers, click the required server.
- In the top part of the page, click Edit .
Radioserver connection settings appear.

Set up the server connection:
- In the Radioserver window, select the General tab.

In the tab that appears, in the Name field, enter the server name. Leave empty to show IP address.
Warning
For the following settings, consider NAT configuration if applies.

In the IP address field, enter the IPv4 address of the server.
- In the Port field, enter the value of the WCF Port from the server.
- Click Establish Connection to ensure the server is available.

If required (legacy mode only), set up user accounts.
- In the Radioserver window,
click OK.
New/modified server appears in the Radioservers window. - In the Radioservers window, click Finish to apply changes and close the window.
Postrequisites§
- Set up server host monitoring via IPMI.
- Repeat the process for all the additional and/or backup servers.
