Creating Cross Patches

Prerequisites

• Select a profile that allows cross patch management.
• Select a layout that contains either Cross Patches panel or Custom Console with the Cross Patch elements.

Process

1. Open the Cross Patch window.

   ...from the Cross Patches Panel

   

   1. In the Cross Patches panel, click  All.
   2. Click Add 
   ...from Custom Consoles

   

   1. In the panel, click the empty Cross Patch  element.
      The Cross Patches window appears.
   2. In the window that appears, click Create 

   The window appears.

   

2. In the window that appears, in the Name field, enter the name of the cross patch.

3. Select a group to add to the cross patch:
   1. In the Radio Fleet area of the window, expand <server name> → <radio resource name>
   2. Click the required talkgroup and/or All Call.
   3. Click Add  to add a group to the cross patch.

4. Repeat the previous step for other groups.

   Info

   Do not create cross patches larger than 16 groups.

5. Click Create to create the cross patch and close the window.

Postrequisites

Repeat the process for other cross patches.
