FOACSU Initiation

Prerequisites

• Select a profile that allows outgoing voice calls.

Initiating from Custom Consoles

1. On the Custom Console, press the tile associated with the required subscriber.

2. Keep pressing while indication is Link Establishment (1).

   1. Subscriber tile with the Link Establishment indication:

      

3. Depending on the following indication, perform one of the following actions:

   • If indication changes to Receive (RX) (1), then release the tile/button and listen to incoming transmission.

     1. 

   • If indication blinks and changes to Transmit (TX) (1), then speak into your microphone.

     1. 

   • If indication changes to Link Establishment (1), then keep pressing the tile/button until the voice channel is free.

     1. 

   • If indication changes to Idle (1), then release the tile/button due to the call is declined.

     1. 

Initiating from Radio Fleet

1. On the panel, press PTT next to the required radio subscriber.

2. Keep pressing while indication is Link Establishment (1).

   1. Subscriber tile with the Link Establishment indication:

      

3. Depending on the following indication, perform one of the following actions:

   • If indication changes to Receive (RX) (1), then release the tile/button and listen to incoming transmission.

     1. 

   • If indication blinks and changes to Transmit (TX) (1), then speak into your microphone.

     1. 

   • If indication changes to Link Establishment (1), then keep pressing the tile/button until the voice channel is free.

     1. 

   • If indication changes to Idle (1), then release the tile/button due to the call is declined.

Initiating from the Calls Panel

1. On the Calls panel, press PTT in the entry where the required subscriber appears on the right.

2. Keep pressing while indication is Link Establishment (1).

   1. Subscriber tile with the Link Establishment indication:

      

3. Depending on the following indication, perform one of the following actions:

   • If indication changes to Receive (RX) (1), then release the tile/button and listen to incoming transmission.

     1. 

   • If indication blinks and changes to Transmit (TX) (1), then speak into your microphone.

   • If indication changes to Link Establishment (1), then keep pressing the tile/button until the voice channel is free.

   • If indication changes to Idle (1), then release the tile/button due to the call is declined.

Initiating from the Radios Panel

Initiating from Call Windows

1. In the subscriber call window, press PTT.

2. Keep pressing while indication is Link Establishment (1).

   • If indication changes to Receive (RX) (1), then release the tile/button and listen to incoming transmission.

Initiating with PTT Hotkeys

1. In the user interface, select the required subscriber.

2. Keep pressing while indication is Link Establishment (1).

   • If indication changes to Receive (RX) (1), then release the tile/button and listen to incoming transmission.

1. Apply the required key combination.

2. Keep pressing while indication is Link Establishment (1).
