Installing SmartPTT Express Dispatcher Apps Only

Prerequisites

• Learn the server IP or domain name address.
• Log on to the server host with the program installation permissions.
• Unarchive the installation executable (EXE) file to a local/network file storage.

Process

1. Start the installation executable (EXE) file.

   Language Select

   

2. In the window that appears, select the preferred language. Then click Next.

   End User License Agreement

   

3. In the window that appears, select I accept the terms in the License Agreement. Then click Next.

   Components Select

   

4. In the window that appears, select SmartPTT Express Client. Then click Next.

   Path Modification

   

5. In the window that appears, in the Choose your client installation location field, set up a required path for the Dispatcher App. Then click Next.

6. In the window that appears, set up the server address for Dispatcher App:

   1. In the Server IP Address field, enter the server IPv4 address.

7. In the window that appears, perform one of the following actions:

   • To add an application shortcut to the Windows Desktop, select the SmartPTT Express Client check box.
   • To avoid adding an application shortcut to the Windows Desktop, clear the SmartPTT Express Client check box.
8. Click Next.
9. In the installation summary window, review the information. If valid, click Install.
10. When installation completes, click Finish to finish the installation and close the window.
