Adding AD Users to AD User Groups
Prerequisites§
- Ensure you created the required AD users.
- Ensure you created the required AD user groups.
- Log on to the domain-controlling computer as a user with local admin permissions.

Follow this exemplary instruction to access Active Directory Users and Computers:
- Right click the Start button.
The shortcut menu appears. - From the shortcut menu, select Run.
- In the Run dialog box,
in the Open field, enter
dsa.msc
- Right click the Start button.

In the window that appears, in its left pane, right click a user and then select Add to a group.
The Select Groups window appears.

In the window that appears, ensure the right domain appears in the From this location field.
- In the Enter the object names to select field, enter the name of the group where user must be added. Then click Check Names.
- Click OK.
