Addresses

SmartPTT support Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4). For configurations, only dot-decimal notation is supported.

SmartPTT does not support IPv6.

SmartPTT supports multiple IP address assignment to its hosts. During the configuration, you may need to specify the IP address on case-by-case basis.

IPv6

SmartPTT does not support IPv6.

Domain Names

SmartPTT provides a limited support for domain names. Limitations are as follows:

• Applicable only for Dispatcher App connections to SmartPTT server.
• IPv4 addresses must be prioritized for domain name resolution. If IPv6 are prioritized, SmartPTT may experience connectivity issues.
