Audio Issue Preventions§
Continuity of audio settings is essential for SmartPTT type of products. However, some audio drivers require reinstallation/repair on every OS upgrade. This creates issues in SmartPTT and ruins our customer expectations.
To avoid that, we recommend our customers to perform one of the following actions:
- Disable automatic OS updates and perform them under the direct manual control.
- Set up OS native audio drivers instead of drivers issued by audio manufacturers.
