Avigilon Support Prerequisites§
Avigilon Deployment§
Deploy your Avigilon system as prescribed by the Avigilon team.
As part of the deployment, ensure your premises comply with the Avigilon requirements. For information, please refer to the ACC documentation available at https://docs.avigilon.com/category/acc.
Dedicated Account§
You must create an account for SmartPTT in ACC Server.
For instructions, see
Adding a User.
Networking§
Ensure that the network between ACC server and SmartPTT server hosts comply with the strictest network quality requirements. For SmartPTT network quality requirements, see the dedicated article (link).
Ensure that networking bandwidth between ACC and SmartPTT is enough to transfer video traffic. Consider the following numbers as a reference:
- At least 16.8 Mbps (4K video) per active dispatcher.
- At least 10.2 Mbps (3072×1728 video) per active dispatcher.
During calculations, consider VPN expenses, and other.
In-Transit Data Security§
To secure the video traffic between ACC and SmartPTT server as well as between SmartPTT server and Dispatcher App, deploy and use third-party traffic encryption solutions, like VPN.
Beware that VPN might be limited and/or prohibited in your region. If true, then SmartPTT team is not responsible for using them to secure your traffic.
Firewall§
Unlock the following network ports on the ACC host:
- TCP port 38880.
- UDP ports in the range of 51000–55000 (selected randomly by ACC at video feed request).
Unlock the following network ports on the SmartPTT server host:
- TCP port 38880.
- At least one UDP port in the range of 51000–55000.
Unlock the following network ports on the SmartPTT Dispatcher App host:
- TCP port 8888.
- UDP port 18500.
For details, see the following table:
| Port number | Protocol | Direction | Application | Quantity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 38880 | TCP | Inbound | RadioService.exe | 1 |
| 38880 | TCP | Outbound | RadioService.exe | 1 |
| 51000 | UDP | Inbound | RadioService.exe | 4000 |
