MNIS Host Ports§
About§
The article describes ports to be unlocked on the MNIS Host. Usually, this is the same host as that of the SmartPTT Server.
You may need a dedicated MNIS host in Capacity Max, where alternate/redundant MNIS is supported. This is because each computer may host only one instance of MNIS.
Ports to unlock depend on the MNIS interface. The following interfaces are possible:
- TCP Interface (recommended).
- Tunnel Interface (not recommended).
- SmartPTT MNIS DGW Relay Interface.
Ports for each interface are presented in the corresponding sections below.
