PostgreSQL Restart

Prerequisites

• Log on to the computer as OS admin.

Services (Windows, UI Mode)

1. Open Services.

   How to...

   1. Right click the Start button.
      The shortcut menu appears.
   2. From the shortcut menu, select Run.
   3. In the Run dialog box, in the Open field, enter services.msc
      The Services window appears.

2. In the window that appears, in the bottom of the right pane, select the Standard tab.

3. On the tab, right click postgresql-x64-18, and select Restart.

PowerShell

Execute the following script on behalf of an OS admin.

$Version = "18" #replace with your PostgreSQL version
Restart-Service -Name "postgresql-x64-$Version"
