Quality§

Basically, must be as follows:

  • Packet loss is 0 to 2.5%.
  • Two-way delay is 0 to 90 msec.
  • Jitter is 0 to 90 msec.

  • Packet loss is 0 to 1.5%
  • Two-way delay is 0 to 300 msec.
  • Jitter is 0 to 60 msec.

Bandwidth§

  • At least 3150 kbps per active dispatch console; requires 10.2 Mbps for 5MP video, and 16.8 Mbps for 4K video.

Voice:

  • At least 15 kbps per voice call in MOTOTRBO wireline1.
  • At least 100 kbps per wireless interface2.
  • At least 100 kbps per voice call to/from mobile subscribers.

Data (GPS, TMS etc.):

  • At least 150 kbps per conventional channel.
  • At least 75 kbps per 100 radio subscribers in trunked systems3.

Monitoring:

  • At least 45 kbps per network device (repeater, UPS, router, etc.)

Video:

  • At least 3150 kbps; requires 10.2 Mbps for 5MP video, and 16.8 Mbps for 4K video.

Repeater interface:

  • At least 30 kbps per MOTOTRBO repeater (voice and/or data calls).
  • At least 45 kbps extra per repeater if monitoring is enabled.

MNIS interface:

  • At least 200 kbps per 1,000 subscribers.

Other devices (network monitoring):

  • At least 45 kbps extra per device (UPS, router, switch etc.)
  • At least 200 kbps per 1,000 subscribers at disabled monitoring interface.
  • At least 100 kbps per voice stream.

Voice:

  • At least 100 kbps per voice call.

Data (GPS, TMS etc.):

  • At least 150 kbps per conventional channel.
  • At least 75 kbps per 100 subscribers in trunked systems.
