What It Is?§
Product feature that increases speed of audio-related functions. This includes faster speaker changes, faster mics activation, and more.
What Did We Do for You?§
- SmartPTT initializes audio devices on start, allocating it for its needs.
- Admins may enable the mode to test the performance.
- The mode is turned off by default, for compatibility reasons.
Where Do You Need It?§
- High-stress dispatch centers. In EMS/Fire centers, every call must be properly heard and responded. In them, fast audio routing and small time-to-transmit really matter. Those features decrease number of repeated questions, speed up cases resolution.
- Public transit control rooms. With many noises coming from vehicles/railways and maintenance personnel, it is important to quickly redirect the audio to the speaker that fits best.
