Inter-Server Patching
Overview§
SmartPTT provides the ability to establish voice communication between subscribers registered in different radio systems and dispatched by different SmartPTT systems.

Features§
- Ability to patch the following voice calls:
- Analog radio voice calls.
- Voice calls in radio systems accessible to SmartPTT via analog (IO) interface,
- MOTOTRBO systems,
- Group calls between SmartPTT mobile subscribers.
- Ability to route emergency calls from MOTOTRBO systems to other MOTOTRBO systems if accessible directly, not via control stations.
- Ability to patch phone calls if initiated to a talkgroup.

Requirements§
- Ensure your SmartPTT subscription is current to install this release.
- Consider compliance with networking requirements.
- Recommended capacity of up to 11 active patch groups with up to 11 resources per patch group should not be exceeded.
- SmartPTT must have the “Inter-Server Patching” license key. Dispatch positions responsible for inter-server patch group management must have the “Additional Radioserver” license keys.

Setup:
Before you start the setup, ensure you fulfill all the necessary prerequisites. This may include the following actions:
- Setting Up Network ID for the patched LMR systems.
- Setting Up Server ID
After that, perform the following actions:
- Installing License
- Setting Up Another Server Connection on every server
- Setting Up Additional Server Connection in the Dispatcher App
- Managing Cross Patch Permissions
- Creating Cross Patches
- Editing Cross Patches
