Local Users and Groups
About§
Local users and groups is a Windows mechanism to manage local user accounts and their membership in groups. They are configured in the utility named Computer Management.

Group membership is a conventional way to manage user permissions in the installed software applications.
SmartPTT supports local users and groups as reliable tool to incorporate versatile security policies. With this, SmartPTT provides the following benefits:
- Any industry-demanded security policies incorporation.
- Support of one of the industry-standard tools for those policies (Windows authentication services).
