System Requirements

The requirements below is the summary of information presented in the dedicated articles.

Hardware§

  • Processor:
    • At least eight-core Intel i5 CPU released 4 or less years ago1 for voice and data solutions.
    • At least eight-core Intel i7 CPU released 4 or less years ago1 for voice, data, and monitoring solutions.
  • At least 16 GB DDR RAM.
  • Storage:
    • EFS (preferred)/SSD/HDD with at least 7200 rpm.
    • At least 40 GB for the software and database.
    • At least 150 GB for voice records.
  • At least integrated graphics adapter.
  • At least 10 Mbps network adapter.
  • Monitor:
    • Resolution at least 1280×720 px (HD).
    • Screen size is at least 21″.
  • At least one pointer input (PS/2, USB, or touchscreen).
  • Processor:
    • At least quad-core Intel i5 CPU released 4 or less years ago1 for voice and data only.
    • At least Intel i7 eight-core processor released 4 or less years ago1 for voice, data, and monitoring.
  • At least 16 GB DDR RAM.
  • Storage:
    • EFS (preferred)/SSD/HDD with at least 7200 rpm.
    • At least 20 GB.
  • Graphics:
    • At least 1 GB GDDR5 graphics for voice dispatch solutions.
    • At least 2 GB GDDR5 graphics for voice and GPS/indoor/monitoring.
  • Monitor:
    • At least 23″ display.
    • At least 1366×768 px resolution.
  • At least 10 Mbps network adapter.
  • At least one video output.
  • At least one pointer input (PS/2, USB, or touchscreen).
  • At least two audio outputs (analog or USB).
  • At least one audio input (analog or USB).

Operating Systems§

Only 64-bit operating systems are supported.

  • Windows Server:
    • Windows Server 2019
    • Windows Server 2016
    • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Windows 11 Pro
  • Windows 10:
    • Windows 10 Pro
    • Enterprise (including LTSC editions)
  • Windows 8.1

All the operating systems must have the latest updates installed.

Only 64-bit operating systems are supported.

Network Quality§

  • Packet loss is up to 2.5%.
  • Two-way delay is up to 90 msec.
  • Jitter is up to 90 msec.

Bandwidth§

LMR interface:

  • At least 15 kbps per conventional LMR channel (donor radio, local/wide area channel in MOTOTRBO conventional).
  • At least 45 kbps per repeater and other network device (UPS, router etc.)

Dispatcher App:

  • At least 15 kbps per voice stream to/from wireline voice interface2.
  • At least 100 kbps per voice stream to/from:
    • Wireless interface3 (donor radio).
    • PBX subscriber.
    • SmartPTT mobile subscriber.
    • Web Console user.
    • Voice-capable API integration.
  • At least 150 kbps per data stream (GPS, TMS, etc.) to/from:
    • Conventional channel.
    • Every 200 subscribers of trunked system.

PBX service:

  • At least 100 kbps per voice stream to/from PBX subscriber.

Avigilon ControlCenter:

  • At least 3150 kbps per active dispatch console.

Voice calls:

  • At least 15 kbps per voice stream from wireline interface to repeater systems.
  • At least 100 kbps per wireless interface (donor radio).
  • At least 100 kbps per voice call from mobile subscriber.

Data streams (GPS, TMS, etc.):

  • At least 150 kbps per conventional channel.
  • At least 150 kbps per 200 subscribers in trunked systems.

Monitoring data streams:

  • At least 45 kbps per network device (repeater, UPS, router, etc.)
