Client Connections

The section contains interface settings for different client types supported in SmartPTT.

Description of controls and indicators is available below.

Interface Settings§

Address§

List box that contains a IPv4 addresses discovered on the computer.

WCF Port (TCP)§

TCP port that is used for initial Dispatcher App connection to the server with the following connection transfer over TCP port.

HTTP Port (TCP)§

TCP port responsible for the open-channel data communications between servers (in case of inter-server patching) and third-party API-based applications. This includes link establishment, status messages for voice calls, and data communications.

HTTPS Port (TCP)§

TCP port that is used for secure connection with Web Console and other client applications (if required).

STUN Server Port (TCP)§

TCP port of the STUN service incorporated in the SmartPTT that is required at least in case of Web Console use outside the local area network (respected to the SmartPTT server).

Voice Port (UDP)§

UDP port responsible for open-channel voice receive and transmit between servers (in case of inter-server patching) and all the supported client applications.

Certificate Parameters§

Name§

Non-editable field that contains a name of the certificate imported or generated for SmartPTT server.

Expired Date§

Non-editable field that contains the last day of the certificate validity. The certificate will be invalid on the next day, and this results in the Web Console failure.

Generate§

Button that starts a self-signed certificate generation in SmartPTT. Recommended for use in demo systems only. For production, user certificate is recommended to be used.

Import§

Button that opens a file open dialog where users may select a custom certificate to import in SmartPTT.
