SmartPTT supports MOTOTRBO systems access over MOTOTRBO mobile/portable radios (called “control stations”).
Every SmartPTT server supports up to 4 MOTOTRBO wireless interfaces.
Channel Steering§
SmartPTT supports remote channel steering on MOTOTRBO wireless interface.
In analog radio, the feature is known as Frequency Select.
Voice Calls§
SmartPTT supports voice calls in MOTOTRBO wireless. Supported call types are as follows:
- Individual calls,
- All Calls (a.k.a. system-wide calls).
SmartPTT supports multiple incoming calls at once.
Radio Commands§
SmartPTT supports decoding and encoding radio commands in digital MOTOTRBO systems. The commands are as follows:
- Ambience Listening (a.k.a. Remote Monitor).
- Radio Disable (named “Block Radio” in UI).
- Radio Enable (named “Unblock Radio” in UI).
Presence§
SmartPTT supports presence updates for MOTOTRBO subscribers available over the wireless interface. The feature is also known as Automatic Registration Service (ARS).
GPS Location§
SmartPTT supports GPS location for MOTOTRBO radio subscribers.

Google Maps§
SmartPTT supports visualization of GPS location for MOTOTRBO radio subscribers using Google Maps.
Raster Maps§
SmartPTT supports visualization of GPS location for MOTOTRBO radio subscribers using “raster maps”, a bitmap images which corners tied to specific latitude and longitude.
Polish Maps§
SmartPTT supports visualization of GPS location for MOTOTRBO radio subscribers using Polish Maps.
Text Messaging§
SmartPTT supports decoding and encoding text messages between MOTOTRBO radio subscribers as well as between them and dispatchers. Both group and individual text messages are supported.
