Telephone Interconnect§

SmartPTT implements Telephone Interconnect service embedded into Radioserver module. Telephone Interconnect service allows connecting telephone and dispatcher subscribers. Connection is established by means of SIP and RTP protocols.

  • Direct telephone to radio subscriber call;
  • Direct radio to telephone subscriber call;
  • Interconnection initiated by Dispatcher Console;
  • Authorized radio list (radios permitted to communicate to telephone subscribers);
  • Calls recording;

Radioserver Event Log§

SmartPTT allows saving event log and recording voice calls at Radioserver PC. SmartPTT Dispatcher Console implements viewing events and playback of voice records stored at Radioserver.

Lone Worker§

SmartPTT allows working with radio subscribers in Lone Worker mode. When a subscriber is assigned to operate in Lone Worker mode, SmartPTT automatically tracks following criteria:

  • No calls from subscriber during specified period of time;
  • No GPS location from subscriber during specified period of time;
  • No movement of subscriber during specified period of time;

If criteria met, SmartPTT execute actions defined by settings of Lone Worker mode.

Service§

SmartPTT implements service functionality to backup database and restore from backup copy (the functionality is only available for databases stored on the same PC as the Dispatcher Console).

Introducing MapPoint support.

Dispatcher Enhancements§

  • Radioserver Event Log viewing functionality;
  • Radio DeKey function for Control Station;
  • External PTT pedal support (connected to COM Port).
