What's New in 7.1

Telephone Interconnect for Capacity Plus§

Starting with this version, there is a possibility for Capacity Plus network subscribers to make calls to PBX phones.

Email Gateway§

Service of text messages delivery between radio subscribers and dispatch consoles is expanded with e-mail gateway function. E-mail Gateway allows users to duplicate messages sent within the radio network to the email addresses specified in the Radioserver Configurator. Backward delivery – from emails to a subscriber or to a subscriber group is also implemented in new version.

Multitouch§

New version includes Multi-touch function support for dispatcher consoles equipped with touchscreens. The use of these panels can improve the user interface and simplify the procedures of entering commands by dispatcher.

Thus, for instance, making a call to a subscriber or a dispatcher, as well as establishing connection between PBX and radio network subscribers is now possible just by a single tapping with two fingers in the touchpad areas, corresponding to the objects of control.

Lone Worker§

Functionality of supervisory control over subscribers in the Lone Worker mode is consnameerably expanded. Henceforth, the dispatcher console operator has the opportunity not only to register the Lone Worker rules violation, but also send him a text message or sound notifications upon the occurrence of the event.

For the convenience of monitoring subscribers in Lone Worker mode, new pane – “Lone Workers” was added to SmartPTT Dispatcher software. This pane allows user to view Lone Workers, marked with color code corresponding to the degree of deviation the Subscriber’s behavior from the specified criteria.

Centralized Rules and Alerts§

The opportunity to set rules (on a wnamee range of criteria) and perform actions (playback sounds, send a message) upon the occurrence of events specified by the rules was added in the SmartPTT Radioserver software. This functionality is available in a new tab of Radioserver Configurator – Rules. Previously this opportunity was available only for the dispatch console operators.

Routes§

The new tool of SmartPTT Enterprise that significantly extends functionality of the dispatch system, especially for monitoring and controlling networks of highly mobile subscribers moving along the predefined route (for example, employees of transportation companies), is Route. Its meaning radically differs from the pre-existing concept of a Route as the trajectory of subscriber’s movement that, from now on, is called Track.

Starting with the version 7.1.0 is a polyline connecting key points of the network coverage area. Subscriber location near the key points is identified by the specified radius of the route and can be summarized in the Subscriber Locations report.
