Conference Calls§
Now it is possible to make conference calls with various subscriber types: telephone subscribers, dispatchers, radio subscribers and groups.
Monitoring§
- Ability to view repeater and other devices condition by using external SNMP client.
- SMS and Email alarm notification sending.
- Display of UPS and routers in topology.
- New object (Location) was added. Now the users can group repeaters and other devices by placing them under one or different locations in topology.
One Channel for More Than One Dispatcher§
One channel is now available for more than one dispatcher at one and the same time. The solution is based on allocating unique name’s to dispatchers.
Telephone Interconnect§
- Ability to decline group calls for radio subscribers.
- SIP trunk authentication.
- Extended dialing solutions for incoming telephone calls.
- Ability to set radio subscriber name which shows up on a telephone screen when calling.
Deferred Calls§
Now it is possible to send text and audio messages to radio subscribers even if they are offline or out of network coverage. If there is a deferred message to be sent and the radio subscriber is unavailable, the deferred message is put on queue and waits until the radio subscriber becomes available. The functionality is backed up with the ability to monitor the status of all the created deferred messages.
Receiving Files Over the Air§
The system allows receiving files over the air with the help of repeater and SmartPTT File Transfer 2.0.
OpenStreetMap§
Online and offline OpenStreetMap support.
System Notifications§
No more nagging popup error messages! From now on, error messages will be registered in a special system notification panel.
Export/Import Radio Subscribers§
Now it is possible to copy the list of radio subscribers from one SmartPTT Dispatcher Console into another in almost one click by using the new feature of exporting and/or importing radio subscribers.
Updated System of Rules and Alerts, Event Processing System§
- Now radio subscribers can change their names by simply sending a TMS.
- Each radio subscriber can have its own lone worker profile now.
- Email and SMS sending on activating the specified rules in Rules and Alerts, GPS Rules and Lone Worker Rules.
Updated Custom Console, Subscribers Tree and Panel§
- The PTT button on the custom console panel can now be pressed with the real push-to-talk button or keyboard.
- Manual selection of subscribers for the Subscribers Panel to keep them close at hand.
- Display of offline subscribers on the Subscribers Panel.
- Display of unanswered calls from radio subscribers on the Subscribers Panel and custom consoles.
Updated Design in the SmartPTT Dispatcher Console§
Instead of the big PTT button at the top of the Dispatcher Console window, each subscriber will now have an elegant PTT button, which will allow making calls to subscribers right from the subscribers tree. Each ongoing call is now provided with a separate status line from where the dispatcher can either call to a subscriber or stop the call.
Export/Import Radio Server Configuration Settings and Database§
This feature allows exporting or importing configuration settings and database from one server to another, which makes the process of setting up new radio server(s) much easier and quicker.
Web Client§
Web based SmartPTT Dispatcher Console is now up and running! Although it is only a beta version, it can already provnamee ARS, GPS and TMS services.
TIPRO Support§
Now SmartPTT supports third-party equipment – TIPRO console.
Other§
- Added legend for RSSI coverage map.
- Added the ability to set special permissions to incoming/outgoing telephone calls for radio subscriber groups.
- Added the ability to set the list of ignored radio subscribers.
- Added options “Private Call Confirmation” and “Group Call Confirmation”.
- Added new events to be registered in the Dispatcher and Radioserver event log: block and unblock radio subscriber.
- Added the ability to “Reset Saved Call Window Positioning”.
