MOTOTRBO Network Application Interface support for data operations§

MNAI provides direct IP connection (without control stations) for following configurations:

  • IP Site Connect
  • Capacity Plus
  • Linked Capacity Plus

Following types of data are supported:

  • GPS data
  • Text messages
  • ARS data
  • Telemetry data

Cross-Radioservers Bridging§

Cross-Radioservers Bridging gives the ability to connect remote Radioservers into a trunk channel. This feature allows seamless integration of distributed radio networks into single communication environment.

Capabilities of control over remote Radioservers

For dispatchers:

  • monitor radio subscribers at all interconnected Radioservers
  • private calls to all radio subscribers
  • group and all calls in scope of all Radioservers
  • private and group text message exchange

For Radio Subscribers:

  • private calls to radio subscribers located at any Radioserver
  • group and all calls automatically bridged through all communication environment

Cross-Radioserver bridging can be configured to:

limit access to particular subscriber groups decrease channel load by using dynamic brnameging for private and group calls Version 8.1 provides bridging to Cross-Radioserver channel only for IP Site Connect configuration. Support for other configurations will be implemented in the version 8.2.

Job Ticketing§

The new series of Motorola radios, MOTOTRBO 2-nd Generation or MOTOTRBO 2.0, have a new feature – job ticketing. To support this feature SmartPTT developed a new Job Ticket panel.

In scope of this functionality the operator can:

  • create new job tickets
  • assign job tickets to radio subscribers and subscriber groups
  • monitor status change of a job ticket
  • filter job ticket list using special criteria
  • set up color for statuses and sound alarm for status change

Built-in 60-day demo license§

SmartPTT v8.1.0 setup package includes a built-in demo license for a 60-day trial period. All of the functionality is available, with only limit of 60 days and the number of allowed entities (radio subscribers, repeaters, etc.).

Channel/Frequency Select in Custom Consoles§

New control is added to custom consoles to switch channels on the control stations connected to the radioserver.

Online Subscribers Report§

Online subscribers report allows exporting the list of subscribers being online at the moment.

Mute Talkgroups§

Mute capability was added to the sound panel and talk group context menu.

System Information§

System information window represents valuable information about:

  • Number and types of events processed by Dispatcher console or Radioserver
  • space allocated to the event log databases
  • the size of the folder with audio recording

Additional settings for messages in the “Rules and Alerts”§

Additional settings for the messages in the Rules and Alerts functionality allow including event details into the message text. Following data can be included:

  • Names of initiators of events
  • date/time of the event
  • coordinates of the subscriber when the event took place
  • event type

New GPS Rule type – Speeding§

New rule (“Speeding”) is added to GPS rule functionality which allows implementing speed control for the subscribers.
