It is also possible to respond to the last incoming voice call or repeat the last outgoing voice call by means of hot key combination.

SmartPTT now supports Man Down functionality based on GOB and Tallysman Sprite™ TW251. In addition to Man Down, SmartPTT Lone Worker functionality is extended with Tallysman Heartbeats feature provnameing precise information about subscriber presence in the radio network. The option is compatible with MOTOTRBO DGM/DGP 41xx/61xx Series radios.
Radio Blocking options§
SmartPTT Radioserver Configurator provides a new option to select how to block subscriber radios from using the system. There are two options available:
- Disable Radio. Radioserver sends Radio Disable command to block the radio. Available for all kinds of channels.
- Deny Channel. Radioserver sends the command (Radio Inhibit) to deny the subscriber radio to work on the given channel. Applicable only to IP Site Connect (direct IP connection) or MNAI-based configurations.
Voice Notifications (Blast Alarms, Alert Tones)§
Voice Notifications functionality allows for recurrent voice announcements over selected channels. Voice message is played back from the selected sound file at a given time interval and repeat countdown. Voice notifications are applicable in case of such critical operations as blast works in a mine or emergency evacuation at a manufacturing enterprise.

Incoming and outgoing telemetry actions are now available for talk groups in addition to particular radios.
Web Client interface improvements§
Better usability and design enhancements in SmartPTT Web Client interface.
Multiple MNAI interfaces for data operations over Capacity Plus and Linked Capacity Plus from single Radioserver§
SmartPTT 8.2 supports multiple MNAI interfaces for voice and data operations over Capacity Plus or Linked Capacity Plus at a single Radioserver. Please note, that due to MNIS service limitations it requires separate PC per each LCP or CP system; however all of them can be controlled from a single SmartPTT Radioserver installation.
Local groups support for Linked Capacity Plus sites§
In addition to global (wide-area) talkgroups, SmartPTT now supports voice calls on Local Talk Groups in Linked Capacity Plus.
Dispatch console registration on SIP Servers§
SmartPTT Dispatcher Console can now register on SIP servers as SIP client. Multiple simultaneous connections to different servers are supported. It provides additional level of flexibility for call centers and unifies the different means of communications available for operators.
