What Is It?§

Glossary

Initialism of “full off-air call set-up”; DMR-compliant, particular case of individual voice calls that require both subscriber presence checkup and subscriber acceptance/declining the call.

What Did We Do for You?§

  • Incoming FOACSU support, with the possibility to accept/decline it.
  • Outgoing FOACSU support.
  • Ability to end the call on demand, before hangtime expires.

Where Do You Need It?§

  • Voice-first organizations. Use FOACSU to ensure you voice transmission will be delivered. Being explicitly accepted by subscribers, it will not be missed.
  • Standard-compliant organizations. Propose FOACSU to organizations that require the whole solution, radio system and dispatch software, to comply with Tier III DMR.

What Will You Get?§

  • Channel efficiency: expensive radio channels will be used only if the intended person is actually there to talk.
  • Trust and privacy: being individual call, the conversation happens only when both parties are in the private surroundings.
  • Full control over the call: any party may leave the call in case of emergency and/or privacy violation.
