IP Site Connect§

Advanced Encryption §

SMARTPTT ENTERPRISE ONLY

Functionality below is available only in SmartPTT Enterprise.

SmartPTT introduces advanced encryption support in NAI-free IP Site Connect. Encryption and decryption is supported for both voice and data calls (GPS, TMS etc.).

Linked Capacity Plus§

Hybrid Voice Interface in LCP §

Functionality below is available only in SmartPTT Enterprise.

SmartPTT introduces hybrid voice interface for Linked Capacity Plus. This opens an opportunity to deploy SmartPTT for voice dispatch and voice recording in LCP systems.

MOTOTRBO§

M2025.03 §

SmartPTT supports the newest MOTOTRBO release. This includes IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Capacity Max, and wireless interfaces supported by SmartPTT.

Connect Plus R2.10.5§

SmartPTT keeps supporting Connect Plus systems upgraded to MOTOTRBO release R2.10.5.

Phone Interconnect§

RTP-Based Session Control §

SmartPTT introduces a way to support long phone calls with subscribers being inactive and/or silent during the call. This might be listening instructions or any other cases.

The method is based on sending RTP packets to PBX while subscribers do not transmit. This is the standard method supported by major SIP PBX.

Comfort Noise §

SmartPTT introduces comfort noise as described in RFC 3389. The noise is delivered in RTP packets responsible for the phone call preservation as described above.

The noise facilitates communication experience between radio and SIP subscribers.

Inter-Server Patching §

SMARTPTT PLUS ONLY

Functionality below is available only in SmartPTT PLUS.

SmartPTT introduces inter-server patching feature in SmartPTT PLUS under the dedicated part number.

Accounts§

Export and Import §

SmartPTT introduces the ability to export user accounts for their delivery to additional/backup servers. It also supports the ability to import user accounts with their preliminary configurations (Radio IDs, labels etc.).

Sorting§

SmartPTT introduces the ability to sort accounts in the list. That eases account search in some cases.

Networking §

SmartPTT introduces the revised network quality requirements for selected interfaces and components. The requirements are adjusted to network requirements of MOTOTRBO systems as well as customer demands.

SNMP Enhancements §

SmartPTT removes a policy that prescribes using unique community values for SmartPTT-to-device interface as well as when SmartPTT forwards information to external SNMP system. This provides greater setup flexibility for SmartPTT as well as the ability to construct new entities in external SNMP services.

Domain Names Support§

SmartPTT introduces the possibility to connect Dispatcher Apps to main and backup servers using domain names. This eliminates complications if IP addresses of those hosts are changed for some reasons.
