SmartPTT supports the newest MOTOTRBO release. This includes IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Capacity Max, and wireless interfaces supported by SmartPTT.

SmartPTT supports increased range of Site IDs in Capacity Max. This increases SmartPTT compliance with Capacity Max and better support of user's semantics for Site IDs.

Connect Plus R2.10.5§

SmartPTT keeps supporting Connect Plus systems upgraded to MOTOTRBO release R2.10.5.

Windows Users and Groups§

SmartPTT introduces the support of Windows users and groups as an alternative to its own user accounts. This includes Active Directory support, and local users and groups on the SmartPTT server host.

With the users and groups, significant opportunities are opened. End users may delegate user management completely to their IP personnel. SmartPTT engineers do not need to configure account associations anymore.

Profile Upgrades§

SmartPTT introduces significant profile upgrades. This includes but not limits with the ability to switch between allowed profiles and set up all the existing permissions in one place.

If used together with Windows User Groups, user onboarding decreases dramatically.

Manual Database Upgrades§

SmartPTT introduces manual-only MSSQL database upgrades and limits their execution to Database Admin role only. This proves SmartPTT commitment to customer cybersecurity rules.

Audit Log API§

SmartPTT introduces the Audit Log API that provides the ability to retrieve information about user sessions. This strengthens SmartPTT cybersecurity and integration capabilities.

Miscellaneous§

  • Enhanced behavior of the Event Log. Now, available entries do not depend on resources available currently in profiles.
  • Renaming is performed for the section previously known as “Clients Connection”. Now, parameter and section names have clearer explanation of their role in the product.
  • Renaming is made for the tab previously known as “Network Configuration”. Now, it is named “Monitoring”.
  • Profiles get a new parameter named “Use for anonymous connections”. If selected, the profile selection functionality becomes available for the SmartPTT mode of operation when the Server does not require user credentials.

    Warning

    Do not enable Use for anonymous connections if Server authentication is enabled.
