MOTOTRBO§

R2.9§

SmartPTT supports the newest MOTOTRBO release. This includes IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Connect Plus, Capacity Max, and wireless interfaces supported by SmartPTT.

SmartPTT supports IP Site Connect topology called “MOTOTRBO Link”. It implies the use of two additional repeaters on RF sites that can only be connected over the air (no wireline connection is possible). The support includes the following aspects: (A) mode-specific alarms support and (B) over-the-air connection indication on the Topology panel.

Calls Priority§

SMARTPTT PLUS ONLY

Functionality below is available only in SmartPTT PLUS.

SmartPTT supports voice calls priority management in Capacity Max. The priority only impacts queued calls, and it does not interrupt voice calls.

Five-Tone Wireless Support§

SmartPTT introduces the support of five-tone analog systems using MOTOTRBO mobile/portable radios as control stations. This increases SmartPTT communication capabilities related to analog systems that remain popular and used.

IO Wireless Support§

SmartPTT introduces the support of IO interface for remote control stations. It means the support of general purpose input-output (GPIO) connectors on mobile and portable analog/digital radios. This extends SmartPTT voice communication and patching capabilities outside MOTOTRBO to DIMETRA, ASTRO, and non-Motorola radio systems.

Warning

Every type of systems requires dedicated cables development, and that includes current/voltage adjustment to values compliant with those in MOTOTRBO radios.

WebSCADA Support§

SmartPTT introduces the ability to view a dashboard of a new product from Elcomplus LLC in its integrated web-browser.

HID Device Support§

SmartPTT introduces a support of HID-compliant audio and dispatch accessories. Usually distributed as a USB devices, this increases a number of compatible accessories SmartPTT works with.

TIPRO Audio Switchover§

SmartPTT introduces a support of automatic switchover between TIPRO loudspeaker and phone speakers (if taken). This increases the TIPRO device usability with SmartPTT.

Maps Settings Individualization§

SmartPTT introduces individual configuration for SmartPTT Maps. This includes subscriber showup settings, tracks, geofences etc.

Miscellaneous§

  • The Locations element in the Configurator can be moved up and down for the Topology view enhancements.
  • SmartPTT introduces the support of the Transmit Criteria for control stations to avoid communication issues.
  • SmartPTT enhances multiple shortcuts/hotkeys assignment to the same action, Also, it reduces the scope of prohibited keyboard buttons to Esc, Print Screen, and Win.
  • Every new emergency alarms message now flashes 10 times unless clicked/tapped and/or closed.
