NexLog§

SmartPTT introduces an integration with NexLog recording systems from Eventide. It provides NexLog with audio source and target ID.

SCADA Integration§

SUSPENDED

The functionality is suspended starting early 2022.

SmartPTT introduces an integration with the SCADA product from Elcomplus LLC, a web-based software for data acquisition and remote control. The solution is based on features provided by the AdapTel RTU.

Integration includes the ability to view RTU devices on maps, track sensor data, detect alarms and react on them. Additionally, SmartPTT supports single sing-on with the SCADA.

Control Stations Connection Status§

SmartPTT introduces the ability to track the connection status between SmartPTT and remote control stations. Alarm statuses might be automatically broadcasted over the radio, email, SMS, and SNMP. Dispatcher App users are able to see that information in the Topology and Monitoring panels.

Upgraded Web Console§

SmartPTT introduces a redesigned Web Console. Its notable features are as follows:

No-installation design. The Web Console is available once SmartPTT server is installed and configured via the Configurator.
Fresh new look. Web Console stylized as per Material Design which is simple, lightweight, and looks nice.

Web Pages§

SmartPTT introduces the ability to add web pages into Dispatcher App. They appear as dedicated panels, and may show valuable information like weather forecasts, time, etc.

Hotkey Enhancements§

SmartPTT increases a number of operations that might be done with shortcuts and dispatch/audio accessory buttons. Particularly, dedicated shortcuts and buttons might be tied to specific groups and subscribers as well as ones selected at the moment.

Miscellaneous§

New installation app. SmartPTT now provides updated installer with added Web Client and Audio Proxy.
Voice calls enhancements. SmartPTT makes internal works to handle greater voice call capacity with the preserved reliability and performance.
Topology zoom. SmartPTT introduces the zoom functionality to the Topology panel.
Voice recoding settings. The settings moved to the dedicated node of the Configurator (named Audio Recording Settings).
Google API Key. SmartPTT suspends using integrated Google API key for Google Maps and Google Geocoding due to enforced billing. Customers should use their own API keys to access the functionality.
