Dynamic Group Number Assignment§

SMARTPTT PLUS ONLY

Functionality below is available only in SmartPTT PLUS.

SmartPTT supports Dynamic Group Number Assignment (DGNA), a Capacity Max R2.10 feature, in the form of Temporary Talkgroups. The groups are allocated range of Group IDs that is randomly selected to create a new group in Dispatcher App.

P25 Wireless Support§

SMARTPTT PLUS ONLY

Functionality below is available only in SmartPTT PLUS.

SmartPTT supports voice, emergency, and PTT ID in P25 systems. System access is available using APX radios connected directly to the SmartPTT server host. Supported system types include direct operation mode (DMO/talkaround) and P25 conventional.

Group calls are supported to receive, reply, and initiate. Individual calls can only be received and replied.

Wide Audience Availability§

SmartPTT introduces the Server API being available for wide audience. Using the API dramatically increases SmartPTT integration capabilities with any solutions our customers may need.

Emergency API§

SmartPTT introduces the ability to receive emergency alarms over API. This increases SmartPTT applicability in emergency management solutions.

Custom Console Upgrades§

  • SmartPTT introduces Backup Server support for Custom Consoles.
  • SmartPTT introduces the Cross Patch tile on Custom Consoles. You can assign an existing or create a new patch.
  • SmartPTT adds Frequency Select/Channel Steering controls to Control Station tiles on Custom Consoles.
  • SmartPTT provides greater customization capabilities for Subscriber and Channel tiles on Custom Consoles. This includes icon show/hide, font size changes, and more.

Miscellaneous§

  • Subscriber licenses now apply both on SmartPTT server and Dispatcher App.
  • On the Radio Fleet panel, the PTT button is removed from the radio resource entry.
  • Cross Patch edit dialog is redesigned.
  • Multiselect edit dialog is redesigned.
  • Emergency API is introduced
