M2020.02§

SmartPTT supports the newest MOTOTRBO release. This includes IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus, Capacity Max, and wireless interfaces supported by SmartPTT.

MNIS TCP Interface§

SmartPTT supports MNIS TCP interface intended for remote MNIS connectivity. This simplifies architecture of solutions based on SmartPTT and, therefore, increases their reliability.

Multi-System MNIS§

SmartPTT supports an ability serve multiple Linked Capacity Plus systems over the same MNIS instance. This simplifies architecture of solutions based on SmartPTT even more.

Connect Plus R2.10.5§

SmartPTT keeps supporting Connect Plus systems upgraded to MOTOTRBO release R2.10.5.

TMS and Job Ticket Updates§

SmartPTT provides the ability to receive and send individual text messages and job tickets in MNIS-capable systems. This increases communication privacy in SmartPTT-powered solutions aimed at data collection and processing.

Password Requirements§

SmartPTT introduces a policy that requires Dispatcher App admins to set up passwords at first logon to the application. This increases SmartPTT user security and prevents system compromises.

Miscellaneous§

Added the ability to highlight MNIS as a dedicated node type (not as a software peer) in the SmartPTT Topology Diagrams.
