WAVE PTX Integration Process

SmartPTT team is not responsible for any changes in the process due to not owning the process.
To get an integrated solution of SmartPTT, MOTOTRBO, and WAVE PTX, requestors must take the following actions.
WAVE Licenses§
Purchase WAVE licenses. Depending on your region, make an operation in WAVE OnCloud portal or PartnerShop.
WAVE Radio Gateway (WRG) Select§
Purchase WAVE Radio Gateway (WRG). You can select different tiers depending on the load between WAVE and MOTOTRBO system.
Additionally, you can choose to purchase self servise option or onboarding option (performed by Motorola).
WAVE Users Setup§
In your WAVE OnCloud account, configure necessary WAVE users.
WRG Linking to Account§
In the same WAVE OnCloud account, configure WRG link to the account.
SmartPTT Licenses§
In SmartPTT, licenses related to the WAVE PTX, are as follows:
- UGW connectivity licenses (countable)
- WAVE user licenses (countable)
Beware that the price of WAVE user licenses depend on their quantity.
The licenses above should be completed with the following SmartPTT licenses:

At least one of MOTOTRBO connectivity:
- IP Site Connect
- Capacity Plus Single Site
- Capacity Plus Mutlisite
- Capacity Max

Voice Recording
- GPS Positioning
System Integration Fee§
You should pay system integrarion fee to Motorola Solution.
SmartPTT Activation§
You should request SmartPTT activation for your WAVE users. For this, you shoud fill in the online form and send it to Motorola.
UGW Credentials§
You should receive an email with the information with the connection parameters that will be required to set up in SmartPTT to access UGW.
