SmartPTT supports various authorization modes for as many of its users as possible.

Active Directory Mode

If you choose to incorporate Active Directory integration, the following configuration is recommended:

1. Create four Windows User Groups, one per each user role.
2. Determine a number of profiles you need to have in your solution. Use the known profile capabilities to determine that.
3. Create additional user groups, one per each profile.
4. Consider linking those user groups with profiles.
5. Distribute users between user groups related to roles and profiles.
6. Set up the connection of Dispatcher Apps to servers.
