Antivirus Exceptions§

Being a software product, SmartPTT requires its executable files to be allowed to interface with. No antivirus software shall block access and launch of those applications.

Reasons§

Antiviruses may raise false positive alarms upon manual or automated launch of SmartPTT executable files. Such alarms are false positive. They occur due to custom heuristic mechanisms specific for each antivirus software and its upgrades.

Using exception lists is a normal practice in the software behavior. Therefore, SmartPTT shall not be considered as a malicious software.

Installation App§

Installation file executable shall be allowed it its place on the computer:

<path to the file>\SmartPTTSetup.exe

For installation from the network drives, please communicate with your Network Administrator.

Server and Configurator§

Executable files on the Server computer are listed below:
